The following vacancy has opened within Letshego Bank Namibia.
PRODUCT LEAD
Purpose of the Job:
- Implements Country product roadmap for the country’s operational performance.
- Co-ordinate testing on minimum viable products (H’Ps) to enhance our array of product offerinas.
- Conducts market research, competitor analyses and customer insights, driven by customerneeds and collaborates with the Group to develop locally tailored products.
- Implements country product strategies for the target markets to secure long-term profitable growth and the achievement of revenue and profit targets.
- Identifies new local market opportunities and develop new product roadmans to address their needs.
- Track local technology trends and embed product access on digital platforms
- Manage product life-cycle to assess product relevance and the need to enhance terminate or develop new product offerings.
- Analyses and reports on the performance of products, and features in production reflecting on successes and identifying areas for continuous improvement at country level.
- Liaise with the Marketing team to inform product features and unique selling point for marketing campaigns.
- Prepare and maintain product manuals for the Letshego Product continuum to cater for product training needs
Knowledge of the Job Holder.
- University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Marketing, or equivalent tertiary qualification. A minimum of 3 years of successful work experience in a related field.
- Experience in a product management/ product development role would be an added advantage.
- Deep Knowledge of digital strategies and digital customer journeys
- Strong understanding of financial services products and market trends globally and in Africa.
- A thorough understanding of retail banking segments with an emphasis on the Mass Market.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation ability.
- Proven team plaver with the ability to work in a fast-naced environment
- Ability to build relationships with the internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision
Skills Required:
- Outstanding organizational skills, excellent verbal and written communications.
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and interact on behalf of country team
- Creative and conceptual thinking skills to develop novel solutions to drive business growth
- Ability to devise lessons learnt approach to marketing executions to incrementall, develop and refine best practice standards
- Ability to develop good working relations with all executive management (and other levels) for a smooth running of the business but at the same time must demonstrate the authority and courage to challenge the status quo when necessary.
