Global Fund Grant VACANCY
Procurement & Supply Officer (Control
Administration Officer) Grade 6
Appointment requirements:
- An appropriate Bachelor’s degree (Business Administration or Accounting) or equivalent at NQF level 7 plus three (3) years’ working experience in Procurement. Logistics & Supply Chain Management; OR
- An appropriate National Diploma (Business Administration or Accounting) or equivalent at NQA Level 6 plus five (5) years’ working experience in Procurement. Logistics & Supply Chain Management.
- Preference will be given to applicants who are fully conversant with Namibia’s Procurement Act. 2015 as well as procurement policies and guidelines and control systems for health products or related in the private and public sector in developing country setting.
Key Performance Areas (KPAs):
- Provide guidance and advices to MoHSS on policy issues related to procurement
- Work closely with the Principle Recipient & Sub-Recipients to provide logistical support in coordinating deliveries of Global Fund supplies and obtaining customs clearance for import goods.
- Sourcing/Managing the quotation process and expediting the delivery of goods and services.
- Assisting in supplier pre-qualification and participate in the opening of tenders
- Working in conjunction with the line managers to ensure clear specification of goods/ services.
- Processing purchase requisitions and ensuring they are duly approved by the relevant signatories before converting into purchase orders.
– Analyzing requests for quotation.
- Tracking purchase orders for approval and forwarding to suppliers.
■ Preparing weekly supplier delivery plans for review and implementation.
