Key Responsibilities
- Process and procedures: Drive processes and policies across all branches to ensure a uniformed approach to administrative functions within the company.
- Normal Stock Purchase orders: Assist Procurement Specialist to place purchase orders in accordance with company procedures. Inform relevant parties (procurement, branch managers and salespersons) of discontinued items by supplier, late ETA’s and supplier changes after confirmation has been received by the procurement specialist
- Buy-out Purchase Orders: Generate buy-out orders daily.
- Works Orders: Follow up if works order has been completed and stock is available and, on the floor
- Truck/Forklift/Crane Rental Purchase Orders: Generate purchase orders on request for Truck/Forklift/ Crane Rentals
- Stock management: Assist Procurement Specialist and Inventory Analyst in identifying electrical stock outs, potential stock outs and excess stock on a DC level.
Requirements
- Completed NSSCO/NSSCAS or Grade 12.
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3-5 years, experience gained within a similar role will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in ERP/business management systems and Microsoft Office.
- Experience in the electrical, solar, or low-voltage environment is a strong advantage.
- Accuracy and attention to detail is a MUST.
- Strong administrative ability.
- Excellent communication, solutions orientated, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Must be agile, energetic, and must have a high level of emotional intelligence.
