Key Responsibilities
- Set up, implement, and manage a full stock and inventory control software system across the business.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with company objectives.
- Source, negotiate, and manage supplier agreements and contracts.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate purchasing requirements across properties.
- Ensure timely procurement of goods and services while maintaining quality standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and service providers.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve procurement efficiencies.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
- Prepare procurement reports, budgets, and forecasts as required.
- Ensure accurate stock control, reporting, and inventory management processes are maintained.
- Provide training and ongoing support to lodge personnel on the inventory management system.
- Conduct beverage product training and service standards training for lodge staff.
- Conduct monthly visits to all lodges to monitor procurement, stock control, beverage management, and system compliance.
- Based at Head Office, with regular travel to lodge properties.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Procurement Manager, Beverage Manager, or in a similar senior procurement role.
- Previous experience within the hospitality, tourism, lodge, or luxury safari industry will be highly advantageous.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and supplier management skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in procurement systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Valid references are essential.
