PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
Overseeing the effective day-to-day supervision of various production processes and activities within a designated Secondary processing work area of the Processing Plant.

KEY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Production Outputs and Efficiencies Execute efficient daily activities in accordance with requirements. Adhere to product Specifications. Monitor productivity of department always. Control of process flow. Daily completion of Fresh / Frozen orders as per Customer requirements. Perform in-house training and continuous assessment of staff in order to have a multi-skilled workforce. Maintain required Housekeeping Standards in all work areas Health & Safety Adhere to required SHE Policies and Safe Work Procedures at all times. Monitor Safe Work Practices and wearing of clean and correct PPE prescribed for all work areas .Perform risk analysis on new equipment / processes General Perform any additional ad hoc tasks as and when required by HOD Manager

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE :
Grade 12 (NQF 4).Recognised Production Management / Supervisory Diploma and or Certificate .Recognized Disciplinary Procedures training course completed. Recognized Food Safety/HACCP training course completed. Recognised VACCP/TACCP training course completed. Recognized Health and Safety training course completed .Certified Poultry Meat Examiner. Computer Literacy. (Microsoft office)At least 5 years’ proven line supervisory experience in a FMCG food processing and manufacturing environment. (poultry/red meat/fish/dairy industry)Namibian Citizen. Valid Code BE drivers’ licence. Proficient in English, being bilingual will be advantageous .Willing and able to work alternating day/night shifts .Willing and able to work overtime, alternating weekends and on Public Holidays as and when required.
