Rukonga Vision School is a Government sponsored National Project School attracting a diverse and largely disadvantaged learner population from all 14 regions of Namibia. In order to achieve Vision 2030 it is necessary to invest in learners with potential, from a disadvantaged background, to succeed in and beyond secondary education. For that reason, Vision school operates as an innovative model school of high quality education that is to be emulated by other schools. It offers the best practices in terms of school culture, school management and teaching and learning.
Vision school staff must therefore be ready to be role models to teachers in other schools throughout the country, dedicated and committed to high level discipline, high level practices and a work environment that goes beyond normal practice ,normal time on task and normal teacher commitment.

Key Educational requirements and Experience
A recognised 3/4 year tertiary teaching qualification at NQF Level 6/7 plus 10 years teaching experience.
Supplementary Requirements
Broad Knowledge in the administration and management of a secondary school.
Instructional Leadership skills
Broad knowledge of the application of Information and Communication Technology in a Secondary school environment.
Dedicated and committed to working beyond normal hours.
Ability to manage a large population of mainly disadvantaged learners from all 14 regions of Namibia.
Minimum ten (10) years teaching experience at secondary school level (Certificate of service) Broad knowledge and experience in the subject area of specialisation.
Broad knowledge of secondary education phase.
