Scale of Salary: N$ 412 001 – N$ 492 567
Housing Allowance:N$ 14 520.00 per annum
Transport Allowance: N$ 8 760.00 per annum
Remoteness Allowance: N$13 800.00 per annum (Koes & Ariamsvlei) N$ 9000.00 per annum (Aus)

APPOINTMENT REQUIREMENTS:

A recognized 3-year tertiary teaching qualification on an NQF Level 6 (or equivalent) plus 7 years of teaching experience.
Or
An appropriate recognized 3-year tertiary non-teaching qualification (or equivalent) on NQF Level 6 in relation to the school subject to be taught, plus a 1-year teaching qualification, plus
7 years of teaching experience.

Supplementary requirements:

⦁ A candidate that is applying for a Principal Grade 5 post must have a professional teaching qualification that would enable him/her to teach a subject in the Primary Phase for Primary Schools (Pre-Primary Grade to Grade 7) and Secondary Phase for Secondary Schools (Grade 8-11 and/or AS Level)
⦁ The ideal candidate should have managerial, administrative, and leadership skills, as well as Human Resource and Financial Management experience, and must be Computer Literate.
⦁ The ideal candidate should be an experienced, dedicated, and committed educator who would be prepared to render quality education and be devoted to his/ her task.
⦁ Probation of candidates in the present position of Head of Department Grade 6 or Senior Education Officer Grade 6 must be confirmed and attached.
