Scale of Salary:                NS 400 001 – NS 478 220

Housing Allowance: NS 13 080.00 per annum Transport Allowance: NS 7 680.00 per annum Remoteness Allowance: N$ 9 000.00 per annum

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: A recognized 3 year tertiary teaching qualification on an NQF level 6 (or equivalent) plus 7 years teaching experience

SUPPLEMENTARY SELECTION REQUIREMENTS:

• A candidate that is applying for a Principal Grade 5 post of Kaistilgubeb Combined School must have a professional teaching qualification that would enable him/her to teach a subject in the Primary School Phase (Pre-Primary Grade to Grade 7) or Junior Secondary Phase (Grade 8 – Grade 9).
• A candidate that is applying for a Principal Grade 5 post of Marmer Primary School and St. Joseph Primary School must have a professional teaching qualification that would enable him/her to teach a subject in the Primary School Phase (Pre-Primary Grade to Grade 7).
• The ideal candidate should have managerial, administrative and leadership skills, as well as Human Resource and Financial Management experience, and must be Computer Literate.
• The ideal candidate should be an experienced, dedicated and committed educator who would be prepared to render quality education and be devoted to his/ her task.

Probation of candidate In the present position of Head of Department Grade 6 or Senior Education Officer Grade 6 must be confirmed and attached

RESPONSIBILITIES RELATED TO PRIMARY SCHOOL PHASE AND OR JUNIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL PHASE: Implementing and evaluation of teaching programmes, teaching, overall supervision, management, administration and leadership of primary and or combined phases of the school, as well as in-service professional development, inspection and guidance of staff members at the school.
