PPS Tied Agent – PPS

An exciting career opportunity has become available for a PPS Tied Agent in Windhoek, Namibia. The key purpose of this role is to provide PPS professional financial services and best advice to our members and potential members. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, retaining and growing the membership with products base for eligible professionals though implementation of PPS financial solutions in line with the members’ needs and requirements.

Minimum Requirements
Qualifications:

• Relevant B.Comm degree or tertiary qualification preferred.
• NQF 6 preferred.
• CFP qualification will be an advantage.
• PPS Membership or eligibility for PPS will be an advantage.
• Knowledge & experience:
• 3 – 4 years’ experience in insurance/financial services industry, especially in a direct sales role within the financial planning environment essential.

Interpersonal and Intrapersonal Skills:

• Natural direct sales person, thriving on going out and finding new increased existing business, and new business for PPS Namibia, both new annual premium income and new members with products.
• Acts with self-confidence and works independently.
• Self-starter.
• Persuasive and influential.
• Good presentation skills.
• Good networking skills.
• Manages expectations.

• Responsible & accountable.

Computer Literacy:

• Is adept in the use of the latest MS Office package, particularly Excel, Word, Power-point.
• Is adept in the use of the latest MS Dynamics 365.
• Is adept in the use of the latest Adobe Design suite.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Meet members/potential members to understand their needs and objectives.
• Prepare and present proposals to existing and potential members using PPS’s financial planning systems.
• Explain complex information relating to financial planning in a clear and simple way.
• Provide suitable advice to best fit the needs and requirements of graduate
  professionals.
• Manage, maintain and build new and existing member relationships.
• Adhere to compliance, operational procedures and practice management standards.
• Stay abreast with product information, performance and industry changes.
• Build a professional network and sustainable business within the graduate professional market.
