1 x PLUMBING & PIPEFITTING APPRENTICESHIP- LEVEL 1

Okahao Town Council hereby invites for applications for a one-year Apprenticeship Training Programme in Plumbing & Plumbing – Level 1 as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). The program is aimed at providing aspiring Technical Vocational Education Training (TVET) students of Okahao with opportunities to acquire certified theoretical & practical TVET skills through the Department: Technical & Infrastructure of Okahao Town Council in partnership with Valombola Vocational Training Centre (VV’TC), that will be providing a theoretical learning platform to the student under this programme in Ongwediva.

PROGRAM ENTRY ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

• ISC (Grade 10) with 23 points in 6 Subjects, E Symbol in English and Mathematics; or
• (New Curriculum) NSSCO Grade 11 with 20 points in 6 subjects, F in English and Mathematics; or
• (Old Curriculum) NSSC Grade 12 with 20 Points in 6 Subjects, F Symbol in English and Mathematics.

APPRENTICESHIP FRAMEWORK:

National Vocations Certificate: Plumbing and Pipe Fitting – Level 1
Duration: 1 Year
Training Provider: Valombola Vocational Training Centre
Employer: Okahao Town Council
Internship Allowance: N$ 2,500 per month.
