Plant Assistant Required

 

 

Number of positions (1) | Internal Division: Plant (Husab site)

 

 

Purpose of the Job:

 

The Plant Assistant supports daily plant operations by assisting with production activities, equipment monitoring, housekeeping, inventory handling, and safety compliance. This role ensures smooth workflow within the facility and helps maintain a clean, efficient, and safe working environment.

 

 

Key Performance Areas:

 

 

• Utilization of emulsion plant and plant equipment effectiveness

• SHE specific responsibilities

• SHE quality effectiveness

• Continuous effectiveness

• Quality control and calibration of MMUs effectiveness

• Participate in training sessions and continuous improvement programs.

• Record production data, complete log sheets, and support documentation requirements.

• Perform routine housekeeping tasks to maintain cleanliness and safety standards across the plant.

 

 

Minimum Requirements:

 

 

Qualifications:

 

 

• Grade 10 certificate.

• Code B or higher driver’s license is compulsory.

• Outline forklift license will be an added advantage.

 

 

Experience:

 

 

• Experience with Mobile Mixing Units (MMUs) and other plant equipment will be an added advantage.

 

 

Knowledge and Skills:

 

 

• Strong attention to detail

• Basic mechanical aptitude

• Time management and reliability
