POSITION: PIPING QUALITY CONTROLLER

ROSH PINAH, NAMIBIA

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

* Grade 12/N3 Certificate or higher technical qualification
* Minimum 3-5 years’ experience as a QC Inspector in piping (SMPP or mechanical construction)
* Knowledge of welding symbols, fabrication standards and test procedures
* Strong knowledge of QCPs, ITPs, and construction documentation
* Excellent communication and report-writing skills
* Ability to work under pressure and independently on site

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Conduct in-process and final inspections of piping fabrication and installation
* Verify compliance with engineering drawings, isometrics, and welding procedures
* Ensure traceability of materials, fittings, and welds as per project ITPs
* Coordinate and witness NDT as required
* Prepare and maintain quality documentation including punch lists, weld maps
* Support site QA/QC audits and ensure close-out of NCRs
* Monitor hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure testing activities
