• Physicians and surgeons diaagnose and treat injuries or illnesses.
• Physcians examine patients, ttake medical histories, prescribe medications and order, perform and interpret diagnostic tests.
• They counsel patients on diet, hygiene and preventive healthcare
• Gastroenterologist are medical practitioners who specialize in treating conditions of the gatrointestinal tract and liver
• Diseases treated by Gastroentrologists typically include colon polyps, pancreatitis, peptic ulcer disease

Opportunity | Duty Requirement(s)

• Hold a Bachelors Degree of Surgery or relevant qualifications
• Registered with HPCNA
• Minimum of 2 years practical experience

Added Advantages | Special Requirement(s)

• Work with primary healthcare team to provide patients with primary medical care services within the standard of care for Internal Medicine patients
• Order laboratory and radiology tests and refer patients to specialists when appropriate and called for
• Gastroenterologistts perform various specialized investigations to make a precise diagnosis
• They discuss with the primary Physicians or other specialists, like oncologist when handling cancer patients or endocrinologist when dealing with the hormone related disorder
