PHARMACIST – Welwitschia Pharmacy

You must hold a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from a recognized institution such as UNAM or a South African university. Registration with the Pharmacy Council of Namibia is mandatory before you can practice. Foreign qualifications require evaluation and approval by the council.

You will dispense prescription medications, counsel patients on proper drug use, and manage inventory to prevent stockouts of essential medicines. You also supervise pharmacy assistants, ensure compliance with Namibian pharmacy regulations, and maintain accurate patient records. Some roles involve compounding medications and providing health screenings to walk-in customers.
