To work under the supervision of the tutor Pharmacist in dispensing medication to patients and wards. Ordering stock and advising prescribers on proper selection of medication and dosage to gain practical experience by acquiring on the job training as required by the Pharmacy Council Guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitors stock levels in the pharmacy by checking stock daily under the supervision of the Pharmacy Manager.
- Organises ward stock supply.
- Monitors prescriptions with regards to suitability, side effects, appropriate dosages and adherence to guidelines.
- Treats patients with respect and in a friendly manner.
- Maintain patient confidentiality.
- Advise patients on how to take their medication.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Pharmacy Degree
- Registration or proof of eligibility to register as an Intern Pharmacist with the Health Professions Council of Namibia
