POSITION: PHARMACIST

Main purpose of this position:
The primary purpose is to provide quality occupational services within the scope of practice.

Key Performance areas:
• Dispensing of Medication to Patients. Wards, and Theatre.
• Manage formularies and implement new formulary items.
• Manage Stock Takes and Cycle Counts.
• Liaise with Nursing Staff and Doctors.
• Supervision and Control.

Qualifications, Skills, Competencies, and Experience Requirements:
• Minimum of 3 years of appropriate experience.
• A Bachelor’s Degree BPharm
• Qualified and registered Pharmacist with the Health Professions Council of Namibia (HPCNA) as a pharmacist.
• Ability to work independently, patience, determination, enthusiasm, and initiative.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and good teamwork skills.
• Initiative.
• Perform on-call, Weekend, and Public Holiday duties as per duty roster.
