POST: PHARMACIST × 1

Minimum requirements

• Bachelor of Pharmacy degree
• Registered with the Pharmacy Council of Namibia
  Computer Literate
• 3 years and above working experience as a Pharmacist

Key competencies required:

• Ensure availability of medicines and all pharmaceutical, clinical and X-ray supplies
• Regular inventory control and Pharmacovigilance
• Ensure adherence to appropriate stock management procedures.,
• Ensure appropriate storage conditions including vaccine cold chain monitoring
• Organize and monitor ward/clinic supplies
  Compile a monthly stock on ARV’s
• Regular visits for supervision of district health Centre’s and /or clinics concerning pharmaceuticals and prescribing
• Compile statistics regarding medicines utilization in different hospital department and clinics
• Prepare the budget for pharmaceutical and monitor expenditure

• Salary scale Grade 7 N$277 264.00- 331 358.00 (pharmacist)
