PERSONAL ASSISTANT TO THE CEO (PATTERSON BAND: C3)
Applications are hereby invited from suitable qualified persons to fill the above-mentioned vacancy.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
National Diploma in Office Management and Technology or equivalent qualification on NQF Level 6.
Five (5) years’ experience as a personal assistant to the executive.
Skills in Microsoft word, Excel, PowerPoint, Customer Services and Interpersonal skills
Drivers Licence Code B
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS
Ensures smooth administrative support to the office of the CEO and Senior Management with special events such as strategic planning sessions, and other ad hoc events requested by the CEO.
Gives input to the budget of the office of the CEO.
Control invitation to the public.
Coordinate and distribute the Annual Council and CEO Calendar to all departmental heads and Councillors:
Facilitates and coordinates Council’s weekly programme
Manages the CEO’s. Councillors and officials travel and accommodation arrangements – local and international.
Coordinates and maintains the CEO’s diary and calendar through daily briefing sessions with the CEO and ensures that all internal and external appointments are attended to;
Acts as liaison with the Line Ministry, other ministries, the Council, Management Committee, management and the general public to ensure implementation of decisions with efficient communication skills.
Assist in arranging Council’s functions/events.
REMUNERATION AND BENEFIT
A competitive remuneration package that includes a basic salary of N$236,550.72 per annum. Annual and Sick Leave, Pension Fund (21.7% Council contribution). Medical Aid (85%/15%), 13th Cheque, Housing Allowance (40% of basic salary if you own a house with a mortgage bond and 20% if you do not own a house)
