PEOPLE & CULTURE BP: LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT
Job Description:
A job vacancy has arisen within the People & Culture Department of Letshego Bank Namibia for the above-mentioned position, the details of the role are outlined below.
Purpose of the Job:
To facilitate and optimise Leaming and Development sessions on process products systems and technology to improve the knowledge, skills and performance of employees thereby enhancing the overall performance of the business. Ultimately, the incumbent will ensure the work environment helps employees develop their skills and fosters career advancement and deliver a wide range of Leaming and Development administrative services and advice in relation to the application of the Letshego Leaming and Development framework
Critical Deliverables /Core Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
- Deliver and execute the Learning and Development objectives
- Effectively identify Leaming & Development needs and deliver on the L&D strategy
- Discuss employee career-path opportunities with managers
- Support management and staff to obtain high levels of skilled employees.
- Develop and Implement the annual Employee Engagement initiatives.
- Through research and sourcing, ensure that L&D material is outcome-based and aligned with the relevant objectives of Letshego Bank
- Manage and facilitate internal Performance and Talent Management processes.
- Contribute to the achievement of the company EE Training targets
- Measure the effectiveness of the applied Leaming & Development solutions
- Ensure new hires undertake mandatory business training.
- Manages the training budget as per laid down procedures
- Keep abreast of legislation and other industry changes that impact the role
- Evaluate learning effectiveness and timeously provide training reports.
- Customize and embed the employee development component of the Letshego Bank
- Value Proposition.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Grade 12. (25 points and above).
- Degree in Human Resource Management/Development or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years previous experience as a Training Facilitator or in a Learnino and
- Development role: Train the trainer/Assessor/Moderator qualification will be an added advantage.
- Must have overall Generalist experience in the total People & Culture (HIR) value chain, with strong specialist knowledge and skills in Leaming and Development and Performance Management.
- Strong communication skills in both written and verbal mediums
- Facilitation, presentation and instructor skills
- Knowledge of NTA VET Lew Claims/Claims Submission.
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
