Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary relationship manager for allocated retirement funds.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Trustees, Principal Officers, employers, consultants and other service providers.
- Attend client trustee meetings and present on administration matters and operational updates.
- Ensure timely follow-up on resolutions and actions from meetings.
- Prepare and distribute minutes and action lists after meetings within period.
- Attend to all queries/correspondence of a technical nature.
- Coordinate and attend to all client reporting.
- Ensure timely execution of monthly, quarterly and annual client service routines and that service levels are met across all administration functions.
- Assist and liaise with internal operational teams to resolve member and fund-related queries and any technical matters.
- Liaise between all service providers on technical matters.
- Monitor regulatory and contractual compliance.
- Provide governance and administrative support to Boards of Trustees.
- Identify service improvement opportunities and drive implementation.
- Escalate and manage operational risks and service issues.
- Update monthly internal client services status report and attend and report at monthly internal meetings.
- Execute internal control routines as per programme.
- Assist with new scheme take-on or establishment.
- Assist with lost scheme hand-over.
Requirements
- Sound knowledge of the Financial Institutions and Markets Act (FIMA) and its regulations and standards.
- Sound knowledge of the Income Tax Act.
- A relevant Post Graduate diploma and at least 5 years subsequent relevant experience in the financial services industry.
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Strong command of English (written and verbal)
- Experience working with Boards of Trustees.
- Sound knowledge of pension fund administration will be a further recommendation.
- Drivers Licence and own vehicle
- CFP qualification
