PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR – Transworld Cargo

The Transworld Group is a group of companies in a variety of industries, from freight forwarding and logistics, to a mechanical workshop, a commercial table grape farm and biomass, to name a few. Our operations are in Namibia, South Africa, Botswana and Germany.

We are looking for a Payroll Administrator to provide full payroll services for our large enterprise with highly variable staff counts and various commission structures. The ideal candidate will be able to conceptualize operations in various industries, have a knack for figures, a flair for detail and enjoy doing various types of reporting, scheduled and non-scheduled. Full payroll services will include basic payroll processing, the collection of variable pay data from various parties, reconciliation of staff benefit payments, responding to colleages and employees regarding payroll-related matters, and the provision of information to management in the requested reports.

Opportunity | Duty Requirement(s)

Minimum requirements:
*Matric;
*Degree in accounting or a related field;
*Three years of payroll processing experience;
*Three additional years of payroll experience in lieu of a diploma or degree;
*Impartial, objective and fact-orientated;
*Willingness to do HR and administrative related tasks if and when required;
*Willingness to work overtime from time to time when and if required;
*Ability to stay calm and cooperative in high-conflict situations;
*Willingness to administer payroll for branches outside of Namibia;
*Willingness to work with farm and industrial workers;
*Willingness to work with three different payroll processing software systems (Crest Payroll, PaySpace and SAGE People 300).

Added Advantages | Special Requirement(s)
*Fluency in any native Namibian Language will be a distinct advantage
