PAYMENTS OFFICER – Hollard Insurance Namibia

Duty Description
1. Main function of the Role:
To ensure the efficient processing and control of payments in accordance with established procedures. The role will report to the Financial Manager. The successful incumbent will be required to demonstrate initiative and ability to work independently as this role will serve as support for the Financial Manager.

Key Performance Areas of the Role:

Ensure all payments are made on time and in accordance with cut-off times and procedures.
Ensure payments are accurate.
Processing of banks.
Expense Management.
Assisting with management accounts.
Processing of transactions.
Responsible for payment allocations.
Perform of reconciliations.
Adhoc duties.

Duty Requirement(s)
Matric (25 points or more).
A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
Minimum 3 years relevant experience in a financial environment.
Advanced knowledge in the Microsoft Office Suite packages.

Experience working with Accounting Software’s such as Sage, Pastel, etc.
