⦁ PURPOSE OFTHEJOB
To drive and operate various vehicles, plant, heavy equipment, speciality trucks used in waste collection-and-disposal as well as earth works services, including regular driver-duties in OTC pool or official vehicles, in order to ensure that the environmental and solid waste-disposal section is able to meet the disposal/cleaning demands of the town, all the while ensuring compliance with professional driving permit standards, as well as with the departmental environmental and health requirements and guidelines; this includes operating earth works equipment/-plant at designated sites or locations, both routinely and on ad hoc assignments.

⦁ JOB REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12 with 20 points in six subjects and English with E symbol. Must have a Driving Licence Code CE with a valid public authorisation; Good and Passengers.
Must have a Valid certificate of good conduct.

⦁ SUPPLEMENTARY EXPERIENCE
At least 2 years working experience in driving heavy duty vehicles, in addition to acceptable track record of safe driving.
