OPERATION OFFICERS X2
Duty Station: Walvis Bay X1 and Usakos X1
Project Duration: 3 years Fixed-Term Contract
Paterson Grading Level: C4
Department: Operations
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To coordinate, control, supervise the execution of the railway project verses Transnamib daily operations in order to ensure efficient occupation of the railway line with little impact of Transnamib operations as well as allowing the completion of the project, by always adhering to the stipulated standards, speed limits restriction and by communicating closing and reopening of certain completed sections to ensure adherence to safety rules and regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- Bachelor’s Degree Logistics/Supply Chain Management. Plus a valid Code BE driver’s license.
- At least (5) five years’ working experience.
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of Logistics/Supply Chain Management.
- Excellent short – and medium-term planning; analytical skills; organizing and good communication skills; excellent writing communication skills; strong computer skills, in particular mastery of all applications of the MS Office package incl. presentation drafting, reporting skills and internet searching; effective coordination skills; ability to effectively work with counterpart staff at all levels and with all groups involved in the projects; ability to work irregular hours;
- Emotional maturity, consistency, time management reliable.
