OFFICE ASSISTANT, PATTERSON GRADE B2, KATIMA MULILO (X1)

Main Purpose of the position:

To provide basic administrative services to the company as defined and to provide a relief service as a Cashier at any centre as the Company may require.

Key Performance Areas

• Assist in keeping a detail record of all new applications, pending quotes applications, new connections to be done at centre level.
• Receive all completed new connections in assistance with the cashiers to install meters.
• Keep a record of all enquiries and update all given feedback.
• Monitors stock levels of all consumables. Always ensures that all stock items are adequate at all times.
• Stands in for the Cashier when on leave, on a break, or when attending to other duties (e.g. ad-hoc secretarial duties).
• Ensures a proper telephone service and a good flow of all outgoing and incoming communication in line with standard procedure.

Minimum Education Qualification:

• Grade 12 with Accounting or Mathematics (minimum 20 points)

Minimum Experience Required:

• No prior experience required. (The job is learned at this level within 2 months)
