La Coastal Guesthouse is looking for an experienced, passionate and a driven individual to join our team.

REQUIREMENTS

•  Preference will be given to Walvis Bay residents.

•  Grade 12 Certificate

•  Relevant Tertiary Education

•  Proficient with Microsoft Office

•  Ability to work independently, accept responsibility with limited supervision.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position is responsible for the day to day running of the guesthouse. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

•  Responsible for all day to day running of the guesthouse.

•  Oversee and hosting of guests and ensure all their expectations are exceeded.

•  Ensure all daily, weekly and monthly administration is done and submitted on time.

•  Responsible for planning and placing orders for deliveries.

•  Responsible for stock control as well as quality control in all aspects of the guesthouse.

•  Oversee all employees and ensure all HR procedures are followed.

•  Compile monthly report for management.

•  Business level English – spoken and written. An additional language would be advantageous.

•  Strong ethics and reliability

•  Position requires long and flexible working hours

Attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, good communication skills and outstanding hosting skills are essential to this position.
