OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR – Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (KAS)

The Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (KAS) is an independent and non-profit-making German political foundation. Through its office in Windhoek, KAS promotes activities in Namibia and Angola meant to consolidate democratic values and institutions, facilitate civic education, governance, and leadership training, empowerment of women, youth, and SMEs as well as research and publications.
KAS is seeking to recruit an Office Administrator (OA). OA is responsible for general office administration and switchboard operations, including providing support to program managers. Further, the OA will provide secretarial services and manage the front desk.

Some of the key requirements are:

⦁ Diploma in Office Management.
⦁ Minimum of three (3) years of relevant practical experience.
⦁ Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with a professional attitude and appearance.
⦁ The ability to speak German and Portuguese is an advantage.
⦁ Experience in an intercultural environment is an advantage.
⦁ Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
⦁ Advanced computer literacy is a must.
⦁ Namibian citizenship or permanent residence.
⦁ Ability to multi-task and work independently in a high-pressure environment.
⦁ Mature and bold with good conflict management skills.
⦁ Good writing skills, telephone etiquette, and the ability to handle confidential information a must.
