OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH NURSE- QKR

QKR Namibia Navachab Gold Mine situated in Karibib Namibia seeks to appoint a suitably experienced and qualified Occupational Health Nurse The position reports to the Occupational Health Coordinator

KEY ACCOUNTABILMES

• Arrange and conduct medical examinations and refer employees to Doctor for fitness certificates
• Ensure effective screening and identification at occupational diseases and taking actions accordingly
• Processing and maintaining the Insurance claims relating to all injuries on Duty
• Assist Emergency Personnel with Emergencies and Trauma cases when required
• Coordinating and communicating with stakeholders regarding persons in need of referrals (e g bookings. transport etc
• Efficiently maintain the health statistical reporting and record keeping systems for storage and controlling of health related data
• Administering primary healthcare treatment arc dispensing of medicine for minor ailments in accordance with related legislation
• Ensure accurate record keeping and reporting of information and ease of retrieval for auditing purposes
• Maintain the 360 health Database and Monitor Absenteeism at the Workplace
• Ensure compliance with set standards and legislation
• Assist with wellness campaigns and Hearth education on a monthly bass
• Required to Conduct Standby Duties

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

• A Diploma or Degree in Nursing
• A Certificate in Occupational Health and registration with the Namibian nursing board
• Three(3) years’ experience in Occupational Health
• Dispensing License Will be an added advantage
• A valid drivers license
• Computer literacy(MS Office Word Excel and Power point)
• Great Great interpersonal skills
