- Bereik teikens wat vir daaglikse video inhoud gestel is
- Bereik teikens wat vir infografika gestel is
- Voldoen aan teikens wat vir algehele produksie gestel is
- Bestuur bydraes vir aanlynprogramme
- Hou toesig oor die bestuur van en monitor aanlyn kommentaar
- Bestuur inhoud van die gedrukte uitgawe
- Skep ‘n omvattende nuusdagboek en ken stories aan verslaggewers toe deur met ander koerante en aanlynpublikasies te koordineer
- Bly op hoogte van nasionale en belangrike internasionale nuus
- Koordineer nuusinsameling
- Identifiseer en ontwikkel nuusberigte en -temas
- Gee opdragte aan verslaggewers en ontleed waar nodig
