Niches Lending and Advisory Specialist – First National Bank of Namibia (FNB)

To proactively acquire new clients and develop, maintain and expand existing client portfolios through the provision of holistic and appropriate lending solutions that solve the needs of clients

Responsibilities:

• Control expenditure and identify process improvements to contain and reduce costs
• Provide input into the budget and manage and report on budget usage that reflects delivery of planned work within agreed parameters
• Creates solutions to meet customer demands
• Deliver internal and external customer service excellence through adherence to quality service standards
• Manages risks in own area of responsibility
• Compile reports that track progress and guide business to make informed decisions Identify opportunities to expand customer base with potentially profitable customers
• Provide input into the development of the tactical strategy, and develop and implement a supporting operational strategy
• Grow market share and achieve revenue target from existing and new clients
• Conduct comprehensive competitor analysis
• Provide accurate and meaningful information on specialised lending products to internal customers
• Participate in planned activities that are appropriate for own development

Experience and Qualifications:

• Minimum Qualification – Relevant Degree in Finance or Economics or Accounting
• Experience – 3 to 5 years experience in a similar environment, of which 1 to 2 years ideally at junior (entry level) management level
