NETWORK PLANNER: KATIMA MULILO (XI)
Main Purpose of the position:
The role of the Network Planner is to design and develop network infrastructure in compliance with the Medium voltage (MV) and Low Voltage (LV) distribution Standards and guidelines. Network planning should be carried out to ensure adequate infrastructure capacity, capability and availability that provides the quality and reliability of supply while adhering to safety regulations.

⦁ LV & MV Network Design, Data Analysis & Mapping
⦁ Customer Liaison
⦁ Mapping Document Classification & Control
⦁ Occupational Health & Safety (OHS)
⦁ Innovation, up to date with developments, national and international.
Minimum Education Qualification:
⦁ Bachelor of Engineering Degree (Electrical) or Bachelor of Technology (Electrical) or National Higher Diploma I Electrical Engineering, OR
⦁ S3 / S4 Technician Qualification
Minimum Experience Required:
⦁ A minimum of 2 years of Technical Drawing, Electrical Design and/or Construction, as well as CAD & GIS experience
⦁ Knowledge of Electrical Standards, NRS, SANS, IEC
⦁ Knowledge of NESC
Special Requirements:
⦁ A valid (Code BE) driver’s license
