The position will entail the following:
Dealing with technical queries from customers
Assess, categorize and assign / attend tickets within the company’s standard SLA terms
Monitor the ticket queues and manage resolution times
Respond to customer queries and provide feedback on status
Provide support and assistance for Paratus services and products
Testing client links capacity, latency, speed and errors
Communications with third party suppliers on any outages and downtimes and request for RFO
Escalation of firewalls and critical Links to Core Team
Maintain router interfaces and network systems
Troubleshoot and resolve customer connectivity solutions
Manage and maintain IP address allocations
Attend to administration and documentation
Effective escalating internally to ensure excellent customer service
Minimum Requirements
Gr12 with A+orN+
A tertiary qualification would be advantageous;
CCNA certified
Excellent communication skills
Willing to work shifts;
Strong problem-solving skills
Minimum of 1-2 years in helpdesk / NOC customer support position, related to ICT and Network fields
