Multiple Positions | National Youth Service

The National Youth Service is a youth development and service institution, established by the National Youth Service Act (Act No. 6 of 2005), aiming at youth development through active involvement in national development programmes, efforts and activities; encouraging youth voluntarism; facilitating youth contribution to socio-economic development and poverty alleviation; and creating opportunities for skills development and career path.

Suitably qualified and highly motivated candidates are invited to apply for the following positions:

1) lx HEAD: INFORMATION COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY
LOCATION: WINDHOEK

The incumbent will be responsible for the overall IT infrastructure, planning, organizing and executing all IT functions within the NYS.

2) lx MANAGER: LIVESTOCK & WILDLIFE
DUTY STATION: FARM GEMSBOKPAN, OTJOZONDJUPA REGION

The incumbent will be responsible for the Livestock farming and Wildlife game farming functions and to ensure production of high-quality livestock/animal products and profitability of NYS’s livestock division at all NYS Centers.

3) lx EMPLOYEE RELATIONS PRACTITIONER
DUTY STATION: WINDHOEK

The incumbent will be responsible for the implementations of all-encompassing Human Resources Employee/Labor Relation Policies and Legislations by providing support and implement the following functions: employee relations, record keeping and HR office administration.
