Key Responsibilities
- Monitor the performance and availability of solar PV systems using SCADA and cloud-based monitoring platforms
- Identify, analyse, and report system faults, alarms, and performance deviations
- Perform first-line remote troubleshooting and coordinate corrective actions with field technicians
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports
- Maintain accurate records of system events, downtime, and maintenance activities
- Ensure monitoring systems are functioning correctly and escalate issues where necessary
- Support continuous improvement of monitoring processes and system performance
- Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams regarding system status
Requirements
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in monitoring solar PV systems or similar technical environments
- Technical training or a basic diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Renewable Energy, or a related field (advantageous)
- Experience with SCADA and monitoring platforms such as Sunny Portal / SMA EnnexOS, iSolarCloud, VCOM Cloud, Meteocontrol, or similar systems
- Basic understanding of solar PV system operation and performance
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Good computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Strong communication and organizational skills
