METER TECHNICIAN, PATTERSON GRADE C3, ONDANGWA (X1)

Main Purpose of the position:

The role of the Metering Technician is to install, maintain, program, test and repair electrical billing meters and associated equipment in allocated urban and rural areas within NORED’s area of operation.

Minimum Education Qualification:

• Grade 12 PLUS a Trade Certificate (N6)/ National Diploma in the Electrical/Electronic field, including completion of the apprenticeship as Electronic or Electrical General trainee.
• Level six / N6 theoretical qualifications. Basic to advanced computer skills

Minimum Experience Required:

• Three (3) years of Electrical Work of which 1 year should be in the Metering installation field.

Special Requirements:

• Code BE Driving License
