METALLURGIST
Reporting to the Manager Processing, the incumbent will provide technical expertise to optimize metallurgical plant processes, quality standards, utilization and throughput targets in order to achieve plant goals and objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering or Metallurgy or B Tech with minimum 5 years’ experience working with a hydrometallurgical or Copper processing environment within the mining industry.
- Base Metal Flotation experience will be an added advantage.
- Experience with using the relevant computer software e.g.
MS Office Package and other metallurgical process related software.
- Excellent verbal and communication skills.
- Code B drivers’ license.
