Position: 1x Full-Time Lecturer: Introduction to Mental Health Nursing
Duty Station: Katima Mulilo

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

• Teaching and Learning.

• Curriculum development and review.

• Developing lesson materials.

• Students’ assessments and evaluations.

• Clinical follow-up.

• Research Publications, Innovation & Development

• Community Engagement

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Master’s degree (NQF Level 9) in Nursing Science/Public Health/Nursing Education or any other nursing-related field.

• Bachelor degree in Nursing and Midwifery Science (NQF Level 8) or Diploma in Comprehensive Nursing and Midwifery Science

• Postgraduate Diploma in Nursing Education.

• Postgraduate Diploma in Mental Health & Psychiatric Nursing.

• At least three (3) years of working experience in nursing practice, plus teaching practice and research.

• Registration with the Health Professions Council of Namibia (Nursing Board of Namibia) is a prerequisite.
