PathCare is a partnership of pathologists in private practice across Namibia and South Africa that has been assisting doctors and healthcare professionals determine and confirm diagnoses since 1922. We are registered with the HPCNA (Health Professions Council of Namibia) and all our laboratories are SANAS accredited.

An opportunity exists for a Medical Technologist / Medical Scientist in the histology department at the Reference laboratory in Windhoek. We are seeking an individual who displays a high level of ethics and integrity while consistently aligning with the PathCare values.

The successful applicant must meet the following criteria:

Knowledge/ Qualifications
National diploma qualification/ Honors degree in Clinical Pathology / Histology
Current registration with the HPCNA in Histology
Computer literate with Meditech knowledge

Experience
Must have at least 2 years of Histology experience post HPCNA registration (Medical technologist / Medical scientist).
Must have experience with basic troubleshooting on instruments.
Must have experience and knowledge on quality management and stock management.

Must be fluent in English
Must be prepared to work shifts, weekends & public holidays
