The Ministry of Health and Social Services (MoHSS) with support from Global Fund Grant is looking for Dynamic, Suitable Qualified and Experienced Candidates to fill the following Vacancies:
Position: X1 Medical Officer Grade 5
Total Cost to Company (TCT) N$906,612.00 per annum
Fixed Term Contract 01 April 2021 – 31 December 2023
Duty Stations Kunene Region: Opuwo State Hospital
Primary Roles and Responsibilities
- Provision of quality HIV/AIDS and TB-HIV services, the provision of patients’ education in HIV/AIDS, including nutrition, prevention and prompt treatment of opportunistic diseases, adherence to ART, and prevention of mother-to-child transmission of HIV in collaboration with other staff members of the Hospitals.

Appointment Requirements Registration as Medical Practitioner at the Medical and Dental Council of Namibia with valid practice card for 2021 and at least 2 years’ experience with the clinical case management of HIV/AIDS
