We are looking to fill the following vacancy:

Mechanical Adjuster

Purpose of the role: To maintain all mechanical equipment in the fish factory & fishmeal plan. Reports to the Chief Engineer.

Minimum role requirements & experience

• STW95 F Class 6 Marine Engineering CoC or equivalent qualification as qualified Fitter and Turner
• Eight (8) years sea-going experience on large factory Freezer vessels
• To ensure the correct technical operation & condition of all processing equipment in fish factory & fishmeal plan
• Repairs gear boxes, conveyers and replaces bearings
• Adjust sorting machines according to size of fish as required Chief Technologist
• Repairs plate freezers and LBH
• Responsible for all hydraulic equipment in the fish factory & fishmeal plant
• Service & maintain strapping machines
