DEPARTMENT: TECHNICAL SERVICES. PLANNING AND INFRASTRUCTURE

Purpose

This position is responsible for minor design of infrastructure, to manage the expansion and maintenance of water sewerage, roads networks, as well as parks and buildings. The incumbent will be responsible for all the relevant line functions such as town planning to ensure a sustainable land and environment planning function to the stakeholders of the Town He.’ she will manage the properties/housing function and the co-ordination and planning of waste management and sanitation.

Minimum Requirements                                                _

• Grade 12 plus B-tech degree or National Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Five (5) years’ appropriate experience of which at least two (2) years must be in a supervisory capacity in a municipal environment
• Registration with the Engineering Council will be an added advantage
