MANAGER PROPOSALS
Divisions: Commercial and Marketing
Reporting to: Executive Commercial and Marketing
Location: Walvis Bay
Nature of the position: Permanent

Primary purpose of the position

To manage the Proposals and Estimations Section within Namdock’s Commercial and Marketing Division. Lead the development and delivery of client proposals, tendering process and fostering cross-functional teamwork, and driving the acquisition of new projects and opportunities to advance Namdock’s growth and success.

Qualification and Experience Required:

• Grade 12, with a National Diploma (NQF Level 6) or Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or equivalent at NQF level 7.

• A bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying or engineering related field on NQF level 8, will be an added advantage.

• 8 years relevant experience in ship repair or construction or mining and or industrial engineering estimations or tendering environment of which 5 years should have been in a superintendent management level. Where a candidate is recruited with a National Diploma 2 years additional years of experience is required.

• Valid Code B drivers’ license.
