Salary Scale : N$ 294.888.16 – N$306.802.16 pa
Cellphone Allowance : N$ 800.00 Pm
Vehicle Allowance: N$ 89.316.00 Pa (Running & Capital cost inclusive)
Housing Allowance :20% of Basic Salary (if not owning a house)
Housing Subsidy: 40% of Basic Salary (if owning a house)
Council Pension Contribution: 21.7% of Basic Salary (Pm)
Council Medical Aid Contribution : 85%
Bonus: 13th Cheque
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION
• Managing. Planning. Directing. Supervision and coordinating the activities of Finance. Human Resources and Administration Department within Omuthiya Town Council.
• Advising the Management and Council about Human Resources projects, financial systems, cost accounting and financial management control.
• Controlling and administering the financial affairs of the Town Council to ensure long-term financial health.

Minimum Requirements
• Grade 12 Certificate with C symbol in Accounting Subject
• Bachelor Degree @ NQF Level 7 in Financial Management or Accounting or Commerce or Human Resources Management or Business Administration.
• 5 years appropriate experience in the field of Finance. Human Resources Management or Administration of which three (3) years should be at Middle Management Level in Local Authorities/utilities. Proofs must be attached.
• No Criminal Record (valid proof within 6 months to be attached)
• Computer literate
• Valid Driver license Code 8
• Proficiency in FINSTEL Accounting System
Additional Requirements:
Preference will be given to candidate with broad knowledge of IPSAS
