MANAGER: MINING OPERATIONS – Osino Resources

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor Osino Twin Hills’ performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives across mining operations.
• Monitor and apply industry trends, developments, and the policy environment.
• Develop and implement short-, medium-, and long-term mining plans that align with organisational goals.
• Direct and coordinate daily mining operations, including drilling, blasting, load-and-haul, processing, and support functions.
• Prepare, manage, and monitor department budgets.
• Lead, mentor, and develop multidisciplinary mining teams.
• Manage staffing, succession planning, performance appraisals, and training programs.
• Foster teamwork, accountability, and a culture of continuous improvement.
• Ensure effective communication and alignment across all operational units.

Requirements

• Grade 12.
• Valid divers licence.
• Eight (8-15) years of relevant mining experience, with at least three to five (3-5) years in a senior supervisory or managerial role.
• Bachelor’s degree in mining engineering or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in surface mining.
• Proven track record in production management, SHEQ compliance, and people leadership.
• Good practical knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential.
