We are presently seeking:
Position | Manager : Human Resource Services and Development Optimisation |
Duty Station | Windhoek |
Primary Purpose | To develop, refine and manage a NAMDIA appropriate and best practices aligned HR services and development optimisation function that will enable effective support of management and staff on all HR matters, as well as ensure optimisation of staff capacity development. To agree with the COO on the scope, depth and nature of the HR systems and processes, and accordingly plan systematic implementation, working from a policies & procedures framework, which s/he significantly informs. To manage the total employment process within the context of agreed structures and organisation development, and ensuring effective staffing of structures, retention, development and support. To support/enable staff representation To further the integration of self-support via digitisation and interpersonal engagement support, to optimally cater for HR needs across all HR functionalities. Together with the COO progressively develop and facilitate a high degree of staff engagement through development interventions as well as a favourable and mutually shared work culture. To delegate operational admin and support services of the role to the HR Officer and enable both progressive development and effective mutual engagement. To infonn and subsequently manage the HR budget, and as part of the operations management team, make inputs to strategy through the COO. |
Minimum Qualifications and Experience | Honours Degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial Psychology, Business Management or related fields – NQF Level 8 Ten (10) years appropriate experience in this area of expertise of which at least six (6) years in a professional role and at least 2 years heading up support department. |
