AGRONOMIC BOARD
The Namibian Agronomic Board (NAB) is a statutory body that is governed by the Agronomic Industry Act (Act 20 of 1992). It is mandated to promote the agronomic and horticulture industry and to facilitate the production, processing, storage and marketing of controlled products in Namibia. The NAB is looking for suitable and competent candidates for the above-mentioned position:
Reporting to General Manager: Regulations
Duty Station: Windhoek, Namibia
Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain and update policies, management systems and procedures for conducting regular farm assessments, facility audits and product inspections to establish the industry compliance rate and food safety risks across all seven (7) production zones.
Develop, implement, monitor and analyse national food safety and quality assurance industry program.
Manage and ensure that planned assessments, inspections and audit activities are executed in line with the relevant procedures and requirements.
