Position:	Manager: Financial Reporting

Purpose of the job:

• Manages the company’s financial reporting, Cost and Management Accounting, Resource Management and audit process management, by formulating and implementing relevant and appropriate policies and by translating these strategic imperatives into operational and tactical

Minimum Qualification:

• Honours Degree in Accounting (CTA), Completed Articles. Must be a Registered Chartered Accountant(CA).

Preferred Qualification:

• Registered Chartered Accountant with Completed Articles plus M Com Accounting Degree or an equivalent

Specific Knowledge:

• Sound working knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards; Working knowledge of Case-Ware; Project Management; Excellent understanding of Namibian Tax Legislation (Income Tax and VAT);  Company’s Act; Electricity  Act and Regulations; Labour Act; Management- and Financial Accounting; Local Authorities Act; Municipal Regulations; Financial Modelling. Policy and Procedure formulation; Financial information business systems; Short- and Long-term Financial forecasting and

Experience:

• Five (5) Years post qualification as CA, General Finance experience of which two (2) years should have been on a managerial level in the corporate milieu and

Professional Registration:

• Registered Chartered Accountant with ICAN/SA and maintain professional registration

License Required:

• Code BE Driver’sLicense
