Career Opportunities
NAMDIA markets and sells ethically sourced Namibian diamonds for the benefit of Namibia and her people. After six years of existence and with this goal in mind, the company begins a new
era of business refinement and expansion.
We are presently seeking:
| Position | Manager : Finance , Business and project Optimisation |
| Duty Station | Windhoek |
| Primary Purpose | Manage & refine the FS&PO function in the context of Operations Support Management (OSM) and achieve optimal financial business outcomes, while ensuring superior Governance & Compliance in the context of the NAMDIA business model and the financial management functional and statutory requirements |
| Minimum Qualifications and Experience | Honours Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management or related fields – NQF Level 8
Ten (10) years appropriate experience in this area of expertise of which at least six (6) years in a professional role and at least 2 years heading up support department. |
| Special Requirements/Licenses | Driver’s License Code B |
| Key Responsibilities | FS and BO input to governance, policies, Procedures and implementation effectiveness.
FS and BO Strategy, business planning inputs, operational planning effectiveness. Annual Statements and Financial Reporting Effectiveness Business Projections and Analysis Services NAMDIA financial image integrity Financial Accounting systems and service effectiveness Procurement systems and Services effectiveness Optimisation of Returns from Non-operating income Business Project Effectiveness |
| Competencies/Skills | Numeric abilities Time Management Planning and organizing Quantitative Analysis |
