Key Responsibilities
- Schedule maintenance work in accordance with approved daily and weekly maintenance plans.
- Communicate approved maintenance schedules to relevant stakeholders and maintain scheduling boards and systems.
- Monitor schedule adherence and update schedules based on work progress, operational requirements, and unforeseen delays.
- Liaise with production and maintenance teams to coordinate maintenance activities and minimise schedule disruptions.
- Track equipment operating hours to support effective preventative maintenance scheduling.
- Compile and submit monthly schedule adherence reports to the Maintenance Planner.
- Verify the availability of required materials, spares, tools, equipment, and manpower before scheduled work is released.
- Coordinate the staging and delivery of materials, tools, and equipment required for maintenance activities.
- Verify sufficient inventory levels of service parts and critical spares to support scheduled maintenance.
- Assist with the creation of Purchase Orders for approved quotations relating to maintenance materials and spares.
- Assist with the procurement of stock, non-stock items, and subcontractor services as required.
- Assist with receiving goods and maintaining inventory control processes.
Requirements
- Grade 12 / Advanced Subsidiary Level.
- 2-3 years’ administrative experience in a maintenance or engineering environment.
- Computer literacy with experience in CMMS systems (Service Manager experience advantageous).
- Knowledge of maintenance planning and preventative maintenance scheduling.
- Understanding of asset management principles.
- Knowledge of Total Equipment Performance, Schedule Loss, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), and related performance indicators.
- Strong administrative, organisational, and record-keeping skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Valid Code B Driver’s Licence (Code BE advantageous).
- Promote a strong performance culture focused on the achievement of WBSH’s vision, mission and values.
