Omuthiya Town Council has the following vacancy to be filled by committed, dedicated and energetic Namibian citizen.

Licensing Officer Finance Human Resources and Administration C2 1 NS 119,513- N$ 123,337.78 Pa N$ 7,704.00 Pa 20% of Basic Salary (if not owning a house) 40% of Basic Salary (if owning a house) 21.7% of Basic Salary pm 85% pm 13* Cheque

 

REQUIREMENTS

• A Grade 12 Certificate with 20 points in six subject and an E in English
• One (1) year cashier experience or in Customer Service Environment
• Customer relations
• Must be computer literate.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Preference will be given to candidates in possession of a valid Driver’s licence (Code B).

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

• Register and license motor vehicles
• Receive application and issue leaners and driving license
• Issue motor dealer license, special and temporary permits
• Issuing of roadworthiness certificate
• Face value control and records
• Keep and maintaining of records
• Revenue collection and administration
• Handle customer queries

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY

• Issuing of all licenses, certificates and documents in respects of vehicles and drivers.
• Be involved in all HIV/AIDS activities in the workplace
• Carry out any other lawfully tasks as requested from time to time by the supervisor.
